Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to: + Sets up stations, performs side work and other opening and closing procedures as directed by supervisor, which could include helping other employees in their assigned tasks + Tenders all checks to cash, credit, comp, room charge or coupon for guests, when applicable + Actively interacts with guest, sells, up-sells, orders food and beverage items + Delivers the highest level of service to all guests according to Bar Americain service standards Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: + Keeps assigned section at optimal conditions regarding cleanliness, sanitation and organization + Maintains all equipment including glassware, plate ware, flatware and beverage products Minimum Education and Qualifications: + Previous experience as a Food Runner setting up various work stations + Relevant experience in a fine dinning a la carte restaurant + Must have experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment + Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: + Knowledge of spirits, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages Training Requirements: + Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures + Food and restaurant concept knowledge Physical Demands and Work Environment: + Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time + Fast paced kitchen environment + Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
