Job Summary
The Quality and Food Safety Manager is responsible for providing quality and food safety support and leadership within the ADM Milling Division, and more specifically, throughout their facility.

This position reports to the Plant Manager which resides at the facility.


Job Responsibilities:Support various systems that are used throughout the facilityADM Weigh, APecS, Sphera, PolicyTech, TLCFDA, BRC, Organic, Gluten Free, Customer AuditsProvides auditing supportPerforms annual tasks as needed for complianceProduction SupportInteracts with ADM Quality Center of Excellence and Food Safety personnel to ensure compliance and continuous improvementDevelop and implement Quality and Food Safety requirements for Human Food and Animal Food, when applicable    Monitor the quality and safety of incoming ingredients and manufactured productsManage prerequisite programs that support the Quality Management SystemAssist with IRM score improvementsActively participate in employee developmentCreate, support and facilitate trainingAssists with internal auditingDeveloping ProcessesOversees and implements Cost of Poor Quality Assists with the IA (Intentional Adulteration) FSMA implementation - Food Defense Vulnerability AssessmentOversees non-conformity investigations; assures root cause analysis and review is conductedManage and Lead OthersManage Quality Control team and ensure analytical programs provide adequate support to operations and accurate results to customersEffectively lead all facility colleagues to establish understanding of food safety and quality standards and drive improvement in food safety culture
 Job Requirements:Preferred 4 year degree or equivalent 7 years Food Safety experiencePreferred Preventative Control Qualified Individual (PCQI) trainedWorking knowledge of Document Management (PolicyTech), spreadsheets, and databasesKnowledge of applicable food regulations and requirementsMust be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnelMust be organized, possess time management skills and be able to meet deadlinesAbility to make decisions based on information and data availableAbility to work as a team member and provide trainingDemonstrate experience of effective leadership
 Working Conditions:
Employees in this position will be exposed to hot and cold temperatures, dusty environments and may be exposed to various potential chemical and food allergens due to the nature of our business and requirements of the job. If there is any reason such exposure would interfere with your ability to perform this role or work at this facility, please notify the hiring manager.

The annual base pay range for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000.
