This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
The Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Supervisor will ensure effective management to plan, develop and maintain all related systems. In this role, you will oversee a team to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations and standards.
Key AccountabilitiesDay to day accountability to ensure compliance for all food safety and quality regulations, policies, standards and practices.Ensure company standards are adhered to and support the reporting and completion of actions in the event of any deviations.Responsible for applicable audit systems.Accountable for food safety and quality related site improvements.Lead customer audits and visits including corrective action close outs.Engage and encourage a food safety culture across the facility.Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsDiploma/Certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceComputer skills and knowledge of common software packagesPragmatic approach to problem solvingExcellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize individual and team workloadCustomer focused and achievement focusedProven work experience including team supervision in the food industryKnowledge of global food safety standardsMinimum one year of directly related work experienceMust be legally entitled to work for Cargill in CanadaPreferred QualificationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsOne year of supervisory experienceHACCP or PCQI (Preventive Control Qualified Individual) certificationAnalytical laboratory experience#LI-JT1 #FGB
