To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, Arla Foods is currently looking for a agile and energetic individual for Food Service and Key Accounts Lead role.

 

About the job

Based at Bangladesh (Arla BD Head Office), you will lead the Food Service & Key Accounts team,

In this role, you'll develop and execute strategies for Food Service and Modern Trade to drive revenue growth and future potential. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders & cross-functional teams and manage forecasting and inventory. Additionally, you need to have good product knowledge & connections with Food Service community.

 

Doing so, you will:

Develop the strategy and ambition for Food Service, Modern Trade, and E-Commerce for both short-term and long-term objectives. Drive revenue growth by ensuring the right product penetration and identifying new business opportunities. Develop in-depth knowledge about the total value chain—from global factory to end customers. Acquire relevant product knowledge and understand the applications of cheese, butter, spreadable, and other relevant dairy categories. Develop and execute channel strategies, marketing plans, and engagement strategies through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies. Have a sharp understanding of accurate forecasting, including inventory management, current secondary trends, and future growth potentials. Monitor and report on sales performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management. Strategize the right budget utilization to secure maximum profitability for the department. Maintain a close control on distribution management by ensuring strong collaboration with the distributor and their management team. Build the right product portfolio through a detailed assessment of market demand and future potential. Build effective relationships with the food service community and other key accounts. Stay up to date on food trends, new product offerings, and industry regulations to provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders. Lead, mentor, and developa high-performing team to achieve business objectives.

 

Who are you?

You should have experience in commercial sales/ marketing, preferably within the food service industry. You should possess strong strategic planning skills, in-depth knowledge of the value chain, and the ability to drive business growth through effective collaboration and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholder.

 

Furthermore, you:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial sales/ marketing. Experience in food service is preferred.  Product Knowledge on Cheese, Butter and other Food Service products. Strong understanding of the food service industry, trends, customer needs, and product offerings. Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word Analyse sales data and develop strategic business plans. Excellent Communication, Negotiation and Relationship building skill.
