Job Posting Title: Food Service Assistant, Temporary Location: Dallas - Hospital Additional Posting Details: Monday - Sunday Flexible 40-hour workweek between 6:30 am - 6:30 pm Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + Provides a high quality of service to patients, families, staff and customers in the preparation and service of meals. + Utilizes correct food sanitation and food safety. + Completes daily, weekend and holiday cleaning. + Stocks food products using FIFO. + Completes grocery storage following correct locations, FIFO, timeliness, removing dented or damaged product. + Completes cleaning of equipment, ware washing, floors, walls according to the correct procedures. Required Skills/Abilities + Food Service Porter experience required preferably in a hospital setting. + Must have excellent communication skills and experience with customers and patients. Working Environment + Working Conditions: Inside + Working Position: Standing and Walking + Physical Demands: Heavy + Physical Requirements: Lifting/Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Stooping/Kneeling/Bending, and Repetitive Movement, Stooping/Kneeling/Bending, Climbing + Lifting or carrying between 35-50 lbs.
