Food Service Grill Cook
Responsibilities
+ Preps daily breakfast and lunch items per the weekly menu
+ Takes orders from guests and prepares items accordingly
+ Serves guests in an efficient, friendly manner
+ Ensures all food is at the correct temperature and logged into the temperature book
+ Uses approved recipes and productions standards to ensure a consistent, quality product
+ Carries pots and pans of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator
+ Stores food in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, labeling and food safety rotation procedures
+ Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils
+ Performs other duties as assigned by Holtec Café Management
Requirements
+ Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
+ Team player
+ Ability to work a flat top, fryer, grill and other kitchen equipment
+ Basic food knowledge
+ Basic math and reading skills
+ Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting and standing for long periods of time
+ Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipts
+ Must have ability to work with and lead other crew members, as well as the ability to take direction from Supervisor/Manager.
+ SERV safe certification is a plus, but not a requirement
The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
