The Food Service Sales Associate Manager is responsible for owning and managing all lines of PepsiCo's business by developing and delivering customer-level AOP (Annual Operating Plans), QBP (Quarterly Business Plans), and JBP (Joint (Customer/Pepsi Business Plan) for PepsiCo Food Service accounts. This role will manage various Restaurant and Rec & Retail accounts in the South Division. Responsibilities Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned food service accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance Execute existing customer contracts and own the renewal Manage advertising and marketing spend Alignment with customer on executional framework to include quarterly meetings, shared/published tactics and regular report out to Pepsi and Frito leadership teams and field teams Align and Develop strategic Annual Account Joint Business Plans (JBP) with Customer and Senior leadership to yield profitable account development and growth. On-going analysis and review of JBP to identify gaps to plan and execute. Develop/implement special initiatives (i.e. test markets, category management platform, technology learning agenda) Understand the impact of sales and financial decisions on PepsiCo Food Service and Bottler P&L’s Attend all national customer tradeshows Provide business reviews on a regular basis Compensation and Benefits: • The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650. • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years of high-level sales experience selling to VP level and above Minimum of 5 years selling within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization Prior use of statistical insights and application within strategic selling initiatives Skills & Capabilities: Strong thought leadership and analytic skills Strong presentation & proposal development history (to senior level constituents both internally and externally) Acumen in diverse supply chain and distribution options and methods, including warehouse, Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and distributor fulfillment. Extensive knowledge of the company landscape and how to manage an effective network. Elevated financial acumen and understanding of economic tools including Sector Deal-Model and/or Division BAM financials (or similar) Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and plan. Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement and commitments. Ability to work effectively within cross functional teams, proactively influence strategic decision making. Senior-level communication, collaboration, influence and impact skills at all levels within an organization Self-Starter, ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision.
