Overview

This position provides basic customer service, running the cash register, taking food orders, kitchen cleaning, miscellaneous jobs including but not limited to stocking items and food preparation.

Responsibilities

Taking customer ordersOperating the cash registerPreparing food ordersPreparing items for salad bar (i.e., wash and cut up vegetables, slice meats, eggs etc.)Assists with closing duties (i.e., putting food away, emptying the garbage and general cleaning)General cleaning of kitchen areaOperating a conveyor dishwashing machineMonitors food qualityFollows food safety practicesMeasures proper food portioning with a scaleInspects quality of own workPerforms other duties as assigned or needed

Qualifications

Previous food industry experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work independentlyCustomer service skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbsAbility to work under stressVisually read recipes, orders, product labels, etc.Ability to read, write, and perform basic math skillsAbility to perform the essential duties with efficiency and accuracy
