Food Service Supervisor
Job Description The Food Service Director oversees the entire food service operation, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and long-term goals. + Budgeting weekly kitchen expenses to optimize resource allocation. + Solving resident complaints in a timely and professional manner. + Following all food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. + Scheduling staff and covering shifts to ensure continuous operation. + Hiring and training new employees to enhance team performance. + Setting and achieving long-term goals for the kitchen, driving growth and improvement. + Ensuring the highest quality food is served to residents. + Developing menus that cater to resident preferences and dietary needs. Requirements: + Food Service Manager Certification + ServSafe Certified + High School Diploma or GED equivalent as minimum requirement + Bachelor's degree or culinary degree preferred + Ability to multitask, juggling multiple responsibilities simultaneously + Effective forecasting of supplies to meet kitchen demands + Proven budget management skills + Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and residents + Ability to provide constructive criticism to employees for growth and development + Expertise in creating and enforcing restaurant policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment + Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate staff
