Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Courses in nutrition, sanitation, personnel management and quantity food production
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years in a healthcare or restaurant environment
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Food Manager Certification from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District or ANSI Accredited Food Manager Certificate

Description
SUMMARY
Performs all duties of the food service worker including tray assembly and delivery and overall department safety and sanitation, and if necessary cafeteria functions. Ensures accuracy of patient trays and ensures the smooth flow of tray service functions. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
