Job Description:
Food Service Workers plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive appropriate and nutritious meals. In addition, a food service worker in a hospital setting contributes to the overall well-being of patients by preparing and delivering nutritious meals, adhering to dietary restrictions, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. This position performs a variety of cleaning tasks:
Maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in all Food service area.Serve, and/or operate cash register in cafeteria.May include dishwashing, pot washing, general sanitation, cleaning, and use of kitchen equipment.May assist in the service and storage of food.This position performs general duties in the cafeteria area as required to insure high quality customer service. They have direct contact with both employees and visitors.Assists in providing quality food and an enjoyable dining experience for patients, guests, and staff.Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; or 1 - 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Food Handler’s Permit required by Madison County.Benefits:
