**Job Summary**
The Sports Nutrition Department (University of Utah Athletics) is seeking work-study eligible students to work in both the Football and Sorenson (Olympic Sports) Fueling Stations to support student-athlete nutritional needs. Our shifts in the fueling station are fast-paced and lively and require excellent customer service to serve our student-athletes. We are operational from 6:30 AM – 5 PM Monday-Friday, and most shifts are between 2-4 hours long, depending on open hours, practice hours, a student-worker class schedule, and desire for hours. Interest in sports nutrition, nutrition, health, kinesiology, or other related fields is preferred but not required. Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required. Please provide a short interest statement (100-200 words) and an updated resume. The student-worker will be provided upwards of 2-3 sports nutrition Under Armour shirts that may be worn during shifts, but not required.

**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain confidentiality in all areas
+ Stock/restock/clean fueling station
+ Create a safe and healthy environment following health department guidelines
+ Prepare foods to be served in our fueling stations.
+ Receive and put away deliveries following FIFO (first in, first out)
+ Must be able to lift and move upwards of 25-50 pounds, as we receive orders in bulk
+ Other tasks or projects assigned by sports dietitians
+ Ability to obtain Food Handlers permit within 2 weeks of hire
+ Successful Fueling Station employees exhibit the following attributes:

+ Excellent time and priority management skills
+ Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments
+ Ability to work as an integral part of the sports nutrition team
+ Ability to work a set schedule in the fueling station

**Minimum Qualifications**
Current Food Handler’s Permit within one month of employment; must be able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English; and a commitment to providing excellence in service required. Six months food handlers’ experience is preferred.
