Responsibilities
We are seeking a Food Service Worker, sometimes referred to as a Café Worker or Food Service Associate at Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare in Riverdale, GA. The Food Service Worker will work in our hospital cafeteria, responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and adhering to dietary guidelines. They support patient nutrition, healthcare hospitality, serve staff and visitors, maintain kitchen equipment and inventory, and contribute to overall food service operations in our hospital.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
prepare and serve food to our patients, staff, and visitorsensure food safety by following hygiene and sanitation guidelinesoperate kitchen equipment like ovens, slicers, or dishwashersstock supplies and maintain inventoryclean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipmenttake and fulfill meal orders according to dietary guidelines for patientshandle cash or operate a register for cafeteria transactions QualificationsEducation and Work Experience
Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent preferredCounty Specific requirement:
