Food Service Worker - Floater JobID: 2069 + Position Type: Support Staff/ Food Service Worker + Date Posted: 10/4/2024 + Location: Food Service + Date Available: Immediate    The Nevada Community School District is looking for our next Food Service General Worker to join our team at NCSD.This position begins ASAP with hours from 7am-2pm Monday through Friday. This position will float between the High School, Middle School, and Central Elementary. Training will be provided. Responsibilities + Assist in cooking, preparing and the serving of daily meals from the planned menu + Assist with cleaning and following food safety procedures + Ability to assist in filling out proper production records and food safety logs + Maintain compliance with federal regulations regarding all School Lunch Programs + Interact with all personnel, students, building patrons, federal/state inspectors, vendors and delivery persons with a positive can do attitude. + Ability to operate all kitchen equipment + Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time + Check in students at meal service on POS system + Prepare lunch account deposits + Perform other duties as assigned Education / Experience + High school diploma / GED + Food service experience preferred + ServSafe Certification - Recommended, but District will provide paid training to obtain after 6 months of service.
