Position Purpose:
Coordinate high-quality, nutritionally appropriate food services for diverse populations, including patients, visitors, and staff. Support the Food & Nutrition Services Manager by managing costs within the approved budget while enhancing culinary operations.

What You Will Do:Oversee culinary operations, focusing on patient and retail services.Collaborate with cooks to refine menus and recipes; contribute to regional menu development.Manage food preparation and service, ensuring compliance with policies and sanitation standards.Order and oversee food supplies within budget guidelines.Maintain detailed records, including meal counts and departmental documentation.Train and mentor food service staff while addressing inquiries.Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and Trinity Health policies.

Hours/Schedule:

Full-time: 64 hours per pay period (.8 FTE). Weekend and holiday rotations required. Flexible shifts between 5:30 AM – 7:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:Required: ServSafe Certification; formal training or experience in large-scale institutional food production.Preferred: Completion of a 90-hour food service supervisor course and six months of supervisory experience.Strong communication, decision-making, and clerical skills.
