**Job Description:**
**Position Summary:**
This role is responsible to manage multiple food services departments (i.e., Deli, Catering, Chefs, and/or Bakery) in a retail store to include inventory management, merchandising, food costs, etc. Ensures compliance with food labeling requirements to meet federal, state and local regulations. Maintains effective working relationships with the community, vendors and/or clients to achieve departments’ revenue goals.

+ Monitor retail locations food scale data to ensure accuracy, to include pricing, food products and ingredients list and communicate information to the merchandising department asrequired.
+ Responsibleto managecross-functional departments (i.e., Deli, Catering, Chefs, and/or Bakery) to include product inventory, staffing, food costs, quality control, merchandising, cross-functional department planning for events, etc.
+ Assistwith pricing of food items for scratch deli and bakery items to ensure cost effectiveness.
+ Ensure compliance with labeling of food ingredient lists to include proper ordering of ingredients, food allergies, etc. to meet required food labeling regulations.
+ Maintain current knowledge of legal regulationsregardingmenu/food labeling requirements to ensure company compliance.
+ Maintain department processes for menu planning and development, food preparation, catering events, etc., and ensure menu development is cost effective, meet dietary requirements and food handling and preparation meet federal,stateand local regulations.
+ Assistwith catering events as needed.
+ May be responsibletoassistwith promotional items and writing ads for deli/bakery items for assigned locations.
+ Additionalresponsibilities may be assigned as needed.
**Here’s** **what** **you’ll** **need:**
+ HS Graduate orEquivalent (GED)
+ 3 years of relevant experience
+ 1 year of supervisory experience
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Good organization, prioritization, decision making andproblem-solvingskills.
+ Strong leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment.
+ May require travel up to 10%.

May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
