Position Overview
The Food Service Rep III plays a vital role in delivering quality food service to patients, guests, and staff while ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include:
Assisting patients with menu selection based on preferences and dietary restrictions.Providing daily interaction with patients to enhance their experience.Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment.Preparing food and drink items, assembling and delivering patient trays and catering events.Handling food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles and assisting with inventory management.Acting as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, hospital personnel, and Food & Nutrition Services.Providing training for new team members.Covering for the Food Service Coordinator as needed.Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
Required: At least 6 months of experience in food services.Education:
Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent.Certification & Licensure:
Preferred: Food Handler Certification.
