Responsibilities

Food Service Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day preparation of food offerings and service over sees all cafés day to day needs. Sets standards and guides employees on tasks with culinary experience and leadership. General role is to prepare for each day, ensuring that the food production is ready for all customers internal and externally. Keeps employees up to speed with information needed for daily operation to run efficiently, this includes catering events. Ensures employee work in a safe and friendly environment. Interacts with Manager to ensure that site has all product needed for daily Café operations. Notifies manager of any problems or questions that may arise with suppliers, employees, and customers.

SUPERVISES:

Works hands on with culinary experience training team on daily menu and recipes needs Guides team in all aspects of daily food prep from planning to service Supervises 2 or more employees and ensures that daily tasks are completed Deals with any question or concerns of employees and customers with appropriate action Handles special requests made by customers to include catering events and notifies the team of requests to ensure all are met. Resolves any problems or concerns, brings any concerns to Manager Maintains kitchen equipment, notifies Manager and Facilities of issues. Fills in wherever needed and works on serving line during breakfast/lunch rush to assist team and ensure customers requests are handled quickly with respect. Able to work after hour events when needed

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
