In this role, you will prepare and style food for photography or filming sessions, ensuring it is visually appealing and appetizing. You'll collaborate closely with photographers, videographers, and chefs to align with the vision of each shoot, adjusting food styling as needed. You'll also handle prop selection, set design, and ensure food safety and quality control. Ideal candidates will be trend-savvy, have excellent time management skills, and a keen eye for detail in both food and visual presentation.Responsibilities: Food Preparation & Styling: Prepare and style food for photography or filming sessions, ensuring that it looks appetizing and visually appealing. Select and arrange ingredients, garnishes, and props to create the desired look. Work with chefs and food experts to ensure food is cooked or presented according to specifications. Collaboration: Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creative teams to understand the aesthetic and vision of the shoot. Adjust food styling based on feedback from the creative director, photographer, or client. Assist in conceptualizing themes and visual direction for food shoots. Propping & Set Design: Choose and arrange appropriate props, utensils, backdrops, and table settings to complement the food. Ensure all props are clean, organized, and suit the overall visual style. Time Management: Work efficiently under tight deadlines, especially for commercial shoots with a high turnaround time. Manage multiple styling tasks simultaneously, from preparation to final presentation. Food Safety & Quality Control: Ensure that all food used in styling is fresh and safe for consumption. Make sure food is stored correctly and handled in a hygienic manner. Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with current food trends, styling techniques, and photography trends to keep work fresh and innovative.
