Pay Rate: $21.27/hr. ($21.52/hr. after certification)

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid CA Driver’s License, have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

 

Job Summary: To support the daily operation of the Food Warehouse in receiving, stocking, storing food products.  Team Member will play an active role in the continued success of the IPS Division.

 

Reports To: Fulltime Warehouse Supervisor

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the daily operation of the Food Warehouse. Consistently monitor inventory to maintain accuracy Maintain the Food Warehouse inventory utilizing Eatec Assist in placing orders weekly. Must be able to file and data entry. Ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse team members using park and departmental safety programs, and self-inspections Load and unload trucks using all types of material handling equipment Assure orders are accurately filled and delivered in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness in warehouse to ensure Health Department compliance Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance as well as general housekeeping Ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse team members using park and departmental safety programs Lead, develop, and motivate warehouse seasonal team members Assist in conducting the weekly Food Warehouse inventory. Assist in any other functions that may be delegated by Warehouse Management

 

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:

Experience in a warehouse, inventory, receiving or purchasing department Ability to handle multiple tasks with awareness of deadlines Must be able to effectively communicate with all employees, vendors and contractors Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid CA Driver’s License Flexible schedule required including nights, weekends, and holidays Overtime of adults may be required from time to time in order to accommodate the business need.
