Foods Warehouse Receiver Supervisor

The Warehouse Receiving supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising staff and maintaining the operations of the Food and Beverage Warehouse Facilities throughout the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex. This position will oversee all deliveries of food, beverage, and all other related products throughout the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Ensure that Warehouse Facilities open and close at the proper times established by the operational needs of the day.

Train and supervise employees to ensure that they are capable of performing their job tasks that are assigned to them in a professional and timely manner, as well as interacting appropriately with guests.

Monitor daily delivery operations of the Food and Beverage department by ensuring accurate storage and accounting of inbound deliveries, maintaining the Food Safety guidelines of all deliveries arriving on the complex, and notifying management of any discrepancies or issues.  

Ensure delivery of products throughout the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex, including in-house stands and outside vendors, are delivered correctly and on a timely basis by associates.

Ensure the strict adherence of Child Labor Laws and report any potential violations to a full-time manager immediately. Complete daily operating paperwork to include break schedules and timesheets.

Ensure equipment is maintained properly and report problems with equipment to warehouse management during operation so any issues are corrected, including the safe operation of vehicles.  

Ensure all orders that are placed through the company’s current procurement ordering system are properly received as guided by warehouse management.  

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must have at least one (1) year of Food & Beverage supervisory experience

Must be a high school graduate or have comparable education requirements (GED)

Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license

Post-Employment - ServSafe Certification and RAMP Certification are required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Skilled in the use of the Google Suite to include, Docs, Sheets, and Forms

 Must be self-motivated to complete tasks and be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignments

 Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

Job Demands:

Physical requirements include standing (for periods up to at least 8 hours at a time), walking (including up and down stairs, hills, and uneven grounds), bending, and repeated lifting (up to 50 pounds without assistance and 100 pounds with assistance)

Regular environmental work conditions, including extreme temperature changes and humidity changes during a standard shift

Regular outside work in various weather conditions is required (including, hot, cold, rain, snow, and other inclement weather)

Employee must provide proper footwear (Steel Toe or Composite Toe / Non-Slip / Non-Skid/ Black preferred Boots)

The primary working time frame for this position revolves around the Hersheypark season to include Spring, Summer, and Fall seasonal operations; but may include other venues such as the Giant Center and Hersheypark Stadium

Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes Monday through Sunday (including Holidays) with shifts starting as early as 4 am and ending as late as 10 pm. Must be able to work a minimum of two (2) weekends (Saturday and Sundays) each month

Must be able to work a minimum of five (5) days and at least 30 hours per week (including shifts in excess of 8 hours) during May, June, July, and August and at least 15 hours per week during September through December
