About the role.
You’ll spend Monday to Thursday on the road building relationships, finding new opportunities, and supporting existing customers. Fridays are dedicated to collaboration and planning with your team in the Brisbane office (with flexibility if you live in the outer western suburbs or Toowoomba). This position offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a measurable impact for both your customers and McCain.
Generate new business, acquire new accounts, and expand McCain’s product range through regular sales visits, presentations, and on-site “cook-ups.”Manage call cycle planning, maintain up-to-date customer records, and ensure sales and opportunity reporting meets business requirements.Champion McCain’s values of collaboration, innovation, and customer-first service at all times.
Proven ability to cope with challenging, competitive markets—resilient, proactive, and unafraid of hard work.Self-starter attitude; ability to work autonomously, plan effectively, and own your territory.Previous use of Salesforce (CRM) considered highly beneficial.Willingness to attend the Brisbane office every Friday (with potential flexibility for those living in Toowoomba or the outer western suburbs).
You’ll be part of a collaborative Queensland Foodservice Field Team, comprising four sales-focused peers led by the Foodservice State Sales Manager. The team values open communication, shared planning and support, and a culture of results through hard work and innovation. Every Friday, the team comes together in the Brisbane office to plan, share wins, and build lasting camaraderie.
