**The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for a Football On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator to join their team.**

+ Coordinate logistics for recruiting-related events on campus, including official visits, unofficial visits, junior days, game-day visits, and walk-on tryouts. Logistics include air travel for prospective student-athletes, hotel accommodations, catering, ground transportation, and game tickets and credentials.
+ Will play a key role in maintenance and upgrading of recruiting database (Recruiting Pro – FileMaker Pro software). Duties will include database training for coaches and staff, troubleshooting when problems arise, acting as liaison to Recruiting Pro staff, and keeping abreast of updates and advancements in the technology.
+ Assist coaches with all administrative functions relating to football recruiting. Maintain lists and charts of prospective student-athletes, tracking and assisting coaches to ensure that necessary documentation is submitted for UW Admissions, ICA Compliance, and NCAA-related factions (i.e. Clearinghouse). Act as liaison between football staff and other offices in ICA and on-campus as related to admissions, housing, initial eligibility (NCAA), freshman summer session; football program representative working with compliance on processing transcripts.
+ Provide administrative support, including traditional administrative duties as requested. Implementation of new design-related ideas (i.e. football website, preparation of presentations, and researching of other ideas to market UW Football).
+ Answer incoming calls and oversee football e-mail account. Order printed materials for use in football program (i.e. letterhead, envelopes, note cards as well as UW and NCAA publications). Origination and maintenance of files on every recruit, data entry of prospects’ information into database, and process correspondence, both coming into the Football Office and what is sent from coaches to prospects. Maintain tape log and organization of tapes. Assign & oversee clerical recruiting responsibilities of student workers.
+ Manage the head coach’s twitter account and provide social media strategy, etc. Oversee and direct assistant coach social media strategies, as well.
+ Assist with student athlete class checks.Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Pac-12 Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
+ High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience with football/operations at a collegiate or professional level OR equivalent education/experience. **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**
+ Knowledge of NCAA rules and/or work in a Division I-A athletic department and computer experience with database and basic Microsoft Office programs required.
+ Must be organized, team-oriented, self-motivated, a hard worker with excellent communication skills.
+ Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends required.
+ Must have experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
+ Must have a positive attitude. **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor’s degree and familiarity with Husky Football.
