The Ford Performance teams get to work on all the fun stuff, work on all the new vehicles, and work closely with the racing side. The team is located in the Roush building, and they work on everything in house. Smaller teams, so you get exposure to a lot of different areas.
You'll have...
Bachelor of Science in Engineering required. Strong knowledge of chassis systems and how they interface with the other vehicle systems, automotive suspension design and analysis required. Experience with ADAMS Chassis/Car Knowledge of engineering GPDS deliverables Knowledge of engineering tools & processes incl. FMEA quality process & documents, DVP&R, GD&T, DVA, and CATIA/Teamcenter Project management skills Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral presentation skills required.Even better, you may have...

What you'll do...
Work within the Advanced Systems Engineering Group defining new product suspension and chassis designs in the provided environment. Establish targets for vehicle kinematic and compliance metrics. Delivery of the vehicle hardpoints and suspension travel Create and maintain program ADAMS model through the life of a program. Maintain chassis systems health chart to ensure delivery of vehicle attributes. Lead interface with Vehicle Dynamics/NVH/Road Loads and other functions for target alignment and system level attributes delivery. Connecting the chassis system to suspension and steering components Ensuring the link between analytical methods and actual hardware performance Working with vehicle development and D&R engineers for refining functional characteristics of the suspension components, system, features into the vehicle Cross functional issue resolution SPOC for analytic and mule vehicle road load data acquisition and cascade. Occasional travel may be required to support vehicle development and supplier reviews.
