The LEO Agricultural and Foreign Labor Services (AFLS) Section is seeking a highly qualified candidate to serve as a Student Assistant. The AFLS team works closely with employers throughout the state to assist with filling in demand jobs. In some cases, there are not sufficient workers in the local area to meet their labor needs. The Office of Foreign Labor Services (OFLS) assists employers with identifying alternative foreign labor certification programs to meet their labor needs. The OFLS is identified by the U.S. Department of Labor as the State Workforce Agency (SWA) and therefore delegates the responsibility to the SWA to review Foreign Labor Applications to ensure the employers Job Orders and Applications meet local, state, and federal, rules and regulations to ensure compliance. The candidate for this position will be expected to assist the OFLS Team with data entry, ongoing daily communication, timely record keeping, and other duties as assigned.
