Job DescriptionImport & Export Compliance and internal controls reporting in line with the BOSCH Customs central directive 03400Coordinate import & export functions and support the acquittal process for exports using the SARS stats analysis, securing acquittal documents, reconciliation and collaborate with different internal business unitsService invoice verification:
> Receiving invoices
> Ensure all supporting documents are available
> Verify service invoices for accuracy, ensuring they align with relevant contractual rate cards
> Internal archiving on the department’s drive storage drive
Costs tracking, identify and analyse potential savings opportunities in the South Africa FT operationCoordinate and update the invoice Handling Procedure SOP & maintenance as per CD022500Ensure LT maintenance of for invoice processing as per the LSP invoice flow process including dispute resolutionEnforce accuracy in billing by service providers by tracking and reporting all inaccurate billingsKPI tracking: Document error rate per LSP; processing time to support the LSP management processSupport with the quarterly Internal Controls Check (ICS)Support with the Annual Broker LSP AuditsRate cards management. Ensure department updated with rate cards & changes in contracts affecting the department’s operations KPI tracking (clearance LT, Delivery LT, LSP performance, Cost analysis)Total costs (transport, VAT, Duty, Broker) processedSavings reporting and costs avoidanceAnalyse foreign trade data and generate reports using Power BI to support decision-making and performance tracking (FTOD, ICS, Savings, & KPIs)Reporting and analysis to customersProxy for clearance instruction processing

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum MatricDegree/ Diploma in Customs, Logistics & Supply Chain, Purchasing, or similar

Experience:

3-5 years practical experience in supply chain, customs & foreign tradeProfound knowledge of logistics and foreign tradeUnderstanding of South African customs and foreign trade rules and regulationsExperience with dealing with customs authorities (preferred)Understanding of BOSCH business models (e.g. cross-divisional and multi-departmental)IT Experience (e.g. SAP or MS Excel)Automotive / FMCG experience would be advantageous
