**Job Description**
Supervises and coordinates carpentry related activities of workers engaged in project operations at various location. Responsible for overseeing carpentry project work and interacting with associated site foremen and project managers to ensure a smoothly run job site throughout the workday.Understands permit to work process & get crews working in a timely manner. This is a working foreman position in Red Dog Alaska.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise construction projects at various job sites through management of employee personnel and project tracking.
+ Responsible for site organization and accountability.
+ Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
+ Reports on employee performance, working conditions and productivity.
+ Ensures safety equipment is available, and maintains safe working conditions on a job site.
+ Monitors employees to ensure they are compliant with both federal safety mandates and safety regulations established by the company or organization.
+ Verifies workers are using provided safety gear, and inspects the job sites to identify and correct possible safety hazards.
+ Responsible for maintaining quality of work produced by employees.
+ Performs activities of workers supervised.
+ This position has supervisory responsibilities.
+ Performs other related duties as may be assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years Foreman experience will be considered.
+ Minimum five (5) years’ carpentry related experience in similar role in the construction industry.
+ Remote work experience required.
+ Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.
