JOB SUMMARY:\n

When Location Manager delegates, this position assumes direct responsibility for managing
location assets and personnel at his\/her location to meet established location goals and strategies
in support of the regional strategic plan.\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n

Must satisfactorily perform each of the essential functions, duties and responsibilities listed
below:\n\nManages location operations in support of company and division goals and strategies.\nEnsures the accurate and timely completion of documents as required by Austin Powder Company policy and federal, state and local agencies.\nOrders, maintains and inventories appropriate products, supplies, vehicles and equipment for the location to maximize asset utilization to meet customer requirements.\nCommunicates customer and community concerns to appropriate company personnel.\nManages the use, cost and maintenance of fixed assets assigned to the location.\nMaintains fixed asset lists of all equipment assigned to the location.\nAdheres to site security standards and housekeeping guidelines.\nConducts timely inspection and maintenance of all location assets in order to control operational costs and to maximize equipment availability.\nMaximizes the utilization of equipment to successfully meet all agreed upon customer requirements and operating budget.\nEnsures adequate training and certification for location personnel.\nLeads and develops a team through action and commitment to meet location goals and customer requirements.\n\n

Safety & Compliance\n\nMaintains a safe and healthy work environment by assuring regulatory compliance (MSHA, OSHA, ATF, DOT, etc.) at the location, at customer sites, and during transit.\nEnsures compliance with APC inventory management procedures.\nAct as company liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and other incidents involving company assets and\/or personnel.\nConducts all required safety and health training for all location personnel as required by MSHA, OSHA, ATF, DOT, etc.\nProvides leadership in Emergency Response.\n\n


MARGINAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
May perform any of the functions, duties and responsibilities of any positions that report to the
position in the event that a subordinate is unavailable or unable to perform those functions, duties
and responsibilities in question.\n

Qualifications\/Education:\n\nMust have acquired at a minimum a High School Degree or GED equivalent.\nSupervisory experience\nPrior budgetary responsibility\nPrior office experience (paperwork, filing, scheduling)\nComputer skills (MS Word, Excel, Inventory Management software)\nMust demonstrate competency and proficiency in the following skills and\/or abilities.\nTime and priority management skills, includes organizational skills.\nEquipment\/vehicle knowledge and operational skills, including maintenance.\nSupervisory management and leadership skills.\nExcellent communication skills both written and verbal\n
