**Job Description:** Constructing shaded structures for commercial buildings Dig Footings Lay out material Set columns Pour concrete Footings are 36" round and 10 feet deep footings Put steel in place (takes 2-3 weeks) Put in place anything custom Install ladder Use level Some electrical work at times if shades have lights Lead a laborer or two read drawings communication skills **Responsibilities:** · Follow instructions and express a willingness to learn and take direction · Supervision of 1-4 employees after you are trained · Planning and coordination of residential and small commercial construction projects · Maintain safe and clean working environment · Excavation, including digging large holes by hand and with small equipment · Removal of dirt both by hand and with equipment · Carrying and working with heavy materials both by hand and with equipment · Pouring concrete in small quantities (0.5-30 yards) · Cutting, drilling, welding · Driving light duty and medium duty company vehicles and trailers · Operation of hand tools and heavy equipment · Coordinate and communicate with customers, salespersons, subcontractors and manager about scheduling and job status **Requirements:** · Dependable, energetic, responsible person needed for specialty contractor installations · Must have own reliable transportation to get to work · Must be a self starter and able to work a flexible work schedule (some projects require just a little more time to be completed) · Mixing on site, use of wheel barrow, cement truck, and coordination with pump truck depending on job site requirements · Some steel fabrication · Will require some short out of town trips (1-4 days) a few times per year (we also do a lot of work in Tucson) · Ideal candidate will have construction industry experience · Able to complete smaller jobs by themselves, work with others on slightly larger projects, and supervise 1-4 people when we are on larger projects **Work Environment:** Work in 3 person team 5:00am meet at garage, leave for job site at 5:30am Work 10-12 hour days Monday-Thursday and rotate Friday for OT Team knows where they are going the day before Possible travel outside Phoenix, but in company vehicle Reports to shop before shift begins **Benefits:** · compensation: $20-28 per hour --negotiable for right candidate · We are hiring from entry level to highly qualified lead installer · We offer Health Insurance, Dental and Vision, paid life insurance, 401K with match, 10 paid Holidays, · 2-3 weeks of Paid Time Off, company provided drinks, company parties and outings about bi-monthly · We work many 4 day work weeks, as work load allows **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
