The Role

We are looking for an experienced Foreman to lead our Electrical team based in Christchurch.
To be successful in this role you will have experience training and developing individuals and serving as a point of escalation to address any issues that arise.

You will be a fully qualified electrician with significant residential maintenance experience as well as experience working on commercial jobs. You will be used to leading by example in workmanship, Health & Safety and customer care.

You will be familiar with contract requirements and ensuring quality work is delivered on time with a do it once do it right attitude. The team is made up of 3 electricians; 1 qualified and 2 apprentices and recruiting another.

This role works closely with our IDM to understand and plan workflows and volume of work.

Requirements

• Fully Qualified Electrician
• Managed and lead teams
• Experience training and growing individuals and wider team
• Solid understanding of H&S requirements and best practices – Safety first approach
• Competent in using technology
• Experience with Multiple House refits and modernisations and reactive maintenance
• Right to work in New Zealand – sponsorship is not available for this role.

The likely appointment range is $40-$45 Per hour. Pay is weekly and wages are dependent on experience.
