As a Forensic Psychologist, you’ll conduct court-ordered evaluations, including Competence to Stand Trial (CST), Criminal Responsibility (CR), aid-in-sentencing, and civil commitment assessments for individuals with suspected mental health challenges. Your work will directly inform legal decisions while supporting individuals served through complex mental health and judicial processes. If you’re passionate about the intersection of psychology and law, this is your opportunity to shape outcomes and contribute to meaningful change! **Key Responsibilities** + **Conducts Forensic Evaluations** Performs court-ordered evaluations, including commitment and recommitment, Competence to Stand Trial (CST), Criminal Responsibility (CR), aid-in-sentencing, and civil commitment evaluations. + **Provides Expert Testimony** Offers expert testimony to the court as needed. + **Coordinates with Treatment Teams and Courts** Conducts examinations related to CST and CR and collaborates with treatment teams and the judicial system. + **Supervises and Trains** Supervises and trains psychology students and provides education to the clinical team as necessary. + **Ensures Accurate and Timely Documentation** Completes detailed, professional, and timely evaluations in compliance with facility policies and standards. **Qualifications & Requirements** **Education:** + Required: Ph.D. or Psy.
