This is a promotional opportunity for current Forensic Specialists employed with Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH). Stein Forensic Hospital is in Las Vegas, NV and services Local jurisdictions of Southern Nevada. This is a secure forensic hospital that houses court-committed clients for competency restoration and provides inpatient and outpatient services. Forensic Specialist IV perform a variety of supervisorial duties for daily forensic operations. This position supervises and manages all security and safety functions to include but no limited to unit operations, client safety, transportation (internal and external), incident response, accident investigations, visiting, and attorney meetings. The Forensic Specialist IV will also be responsible for administrative and clerical duty functions to include, but not limited to, hospital staffing, training, reporting writing, maintaining logs and trackers, timesheets approvals, employees appraisals, employee disciplinary process, court hearings, and attend mandatory meetings, committees, and treatment teams.
