Forensics Server Administrator
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a technical resource for a forensics server administrator responsible for the management of various forensics and eDiscovery technologies in forensics production, test, and development environments. This person is a member of a nationwide team of technical support staff focused on ongoing support and new deployments the company's IT infrastructure. (Not descriptive - what does the team do?) In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues, analyze and identify performance bottlenecks, recommend optimization opportunities, and support internal users, external clients and applications used in our environment while working closely with other IT staff. Additionally, you will oversee application patching for updates and vulnerabilities, as well as perform monthly operating system patching. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the cyber forensics field and expertise in server administration, particularly with Relativity software. Skills and Requirements At least 2 years of experience in the cyber forensics field: Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyze digital evidence. Over 2 years of expertise in Layer 3 server administration: Proven skills in managing and troubleshooting server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. Proficiency with Relativity or similar forensic software: Hands-on experience with tools used for e-discovery and forensic analysis, enabling efficient data processing and review. Familiarity with SCCM, forecast management, Active Directory, and GPO: Practical knowledge of these tools and technologies to manage and secure IT infrastructure effectively. Experience working within an Azure environment: Understanding of cloud services and the ability to deploy, manage, and secure applications in Azure. Nice to Haves Possession of any information security certifications: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH that validate your expertise and commitment to the field. A degree in a related field: Formal education in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline that provides a strong foundation for the role. Holds any information security certifications: Possesses certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, demonstrating a strong foundation in information security principles and practices.
