Position Summary(Basic Job Function) This is a temporary position. To perform and assist in forestry labor. Unit Position Summary Identify and mark property boundaries Cruise timber in designated stand and compile data for future timber sales Clear trails of downfalls using various implements (tractors/brushogs, gators, chainsaws, skidloaders) General upkeep and simple maintenance of Dunbar and Escanaba infrastructure Care for newly planted chestnut orchard and christmas tree plantation Establish maple syrup demonstration sugarbush infrastructure. Install lines, sap tanks, lateral lines with drops ect.. Assist in the construction of the post beam structure to cover portable sawmill and pellet mill.
