Summary: Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. May be required to perform non-receiver duties on a temporary basis.\n\nReads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.\nOpens containers. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.\nLoads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.\nConveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area in a timely manner to assist production team in meeting production timelines.\nSecures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.\nCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.\nAttaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.\nLoads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.\nStacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.\nLifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist.\n\n

Qualifications \n\nPrevious Forklift Operator experience desired.\nPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment desired\n\n

Certifications \n\nMust have a current Forklift Certification.\nMay need a current Tow Motor License if involved in moving trucks on plant site.\n\n
