Job Title: Forklift Driver\n
\n

FLSA Status: Non-exempt\n
\n

Summary Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, materials, and equipment by performing the following duties.\n
\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n
\n\nFollows safety regulations and company guidelines.\nLoading, unloading, shipping and receiving materials.\nStock facility and storage areas and maintain order and cleanliness.\nTransporting materials to different locations inside facility.\nAnalyzes production schedule to determine timely transportation of materials and products.\nIdentify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.\nOrganizing and securing loads to make sure they are properly stacked.\nPicking and wrapping orders for shipment.\nInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs.\n\n

Competencies \n\nAbility to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.\nTeamwork - Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.\nEthics - Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.\nAdaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\nInitiative - Asks for and offers help when needed.\n\n

Education and\/or Experience \n\nHigh school education or GED; or up to six-months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nPrior Fork Lift experience\n\n
