Work Location & Shifts: 2727 Venture Dr. Janesville, WI   1st shift only 

Pay:   The hourly pay rate range for this position is $21.00 + benefits.  This information is specific to Janesville and may not be applicable to other locations.

Overview

To transport product adequately and efficiently, raw materials, etc. from location to location within the manufacturing facility. Ensure all product is transported in a safe manner.  Employees are cooperative and willing to apply their skills in a variety of venues by rotating positions as needed to achieve success.


What you will need:

Preferably one year experience in manufacturing settingHS Diploma or GED preferredAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

What you will do:

Reads/interprets shipping schedules, stages doors, sorts by length, width, customer, core type to create correct stacks for shippingStages for shipping once wrappedConduct pre-shift inspection of the forklift to ensure safety and operational complianceFuel forklifts as requiredProvide safe operation of forklift throughout the facility. Abide by all safety rules and regulations required with forklift operation.Pull all production wrap lines as requiredConsolidate all orders for shippingReceive items into the facility/Ships all items correct to the customerPay attention to detail when pulling items from Warehouse based on work orderMust be able to work extended hours and overtime as needed both daily and on weekends if business need requiresReplace pallets/runners as necessary to maintain a safe working environmentMust understand all shipping documents in order to understand the space required for productWill also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job descriptionMaintain a safe and clean work environment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular fieldSelf-driven, accountable, high integrity, open communicator, strong work ethicRequired to mount and dismount forklift multiple times per dayForklift knowledge and safety proceduresAbility to work independently and effectively in a team environmentSolid verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to organize and maintain detailed recordsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment and have ability to multi-taskDesirable (but not required): Intermediate computer skills in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook, with fast and accurate data entry skillsAbility to lift to 50+ lbs.Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer serviceFollow all operational and safety SOP’s as written
