**Job Title: Forklift Driver** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled forklift driver to join our team. This role includes both day and night shifts with a consistent schedule 7pm-7am, 7am-7pm (3 on 3 off, NO rotating AM/PM). Opportunities for overtime may arise, and mandatory shifts will typically occur on off days with advance notice unless in emergencies. The position is based in the packaging room, where you will be responsible for placing bags of yeast on pallets and ensuring proper stacking for airflow. This job involves heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and requires standing for the majority of the shift. **Responsibilities** + Place bags of yeast on pallets at the end of the packaging line. + Stack 44 bags per pallet, ensuring proper airflow and stability. + Rework pallets if stacking is sloppy or leaning. + Operate a stand-up forklift to transport pallets into a cooler at 30 degrees. + Perform general housekeeping tasks throughout the day. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Essential Skills** + Stand-up forklift experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. + Capability to stand for 90% of the shift. + Proficiency in palletizing and stacking. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable with heavy lifting all day. + Ability to work in an environment with strong odors (yeasty smell). **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity for permanent placement within a good work culture and inclusive environment. The environment is damp with strong yeast odors. Employees must adhere to FDA regulations, including no jewelry, nails, or lashes. Required attire includes a hairnet/beard net, lab coat, ear plugs, and safety glasses (all provided). Steel-toed shoes are required but not provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
