Forklift Driver / Freight Handler

About the opportunity

As our Freight Handler / Forklift Driver, you’ll be based in our supportive StarTrack Rockhampton facility, working with like minded colleagues to keep the cogs of our business turning. Safely operating a forklift and also sorting freight on the floor, you’ll support with loading parcels/pallets for our drivers to head out on the road and deliver for Australia like never before. If you enjoy variety, then this combination operations role is one for you.

This is a full time perm role Mon-Fri with working hours of 8.30am - 4.36pm with overtime on occasion in the morning.

About you 

Hold a valid LF Forklift LicenseBe fit enough to lift/load and unload freight items of all different shapes and sizes frequently up to 30kgBe safety-focused, willing to undergo a vehicle assessment and pre-employment checks (medical, drug/alcohol screening and national police checks) You’re a self-starter that enjoys working in a busy operations environment You enjoy connecting with others in the community to support us to deliver on time, and like never before
