Forklift Driver Supervisor
**Job Title:** Truck to Truck Supervisor **Job Description** **Pay: $ 26.00 an hour** The Truck to Truck (TTT) Supervisor is responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and execution of drum transfers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and company policies. This role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of DOT and manifest regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external logistics teams. The TTT Supervisor also leads a team of TTT Technicians and ensures accurate documentation and safe handling practices in all material transfers. **Key Responsibilities** + Oversee daily operations of drum transfers to ensure regulatory compliance, including adherence to 10-day transfer requirements. + Communicate with management regarding Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance, business-impacting issues, and potential risks. + Coordinate with Corporate and National Logistics teams on inbound/outbound transportation and equipment needs. + Maintain accurate and timely records using systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Power Suite, and TTT logs. + Collaborate with facility teams on drum rejections or compliance-related concerns. + Report health, safety, or environmental incidents (e.g., leaks or releases) to the Health & Safety or Compliance Manager. + Ensure appropriate DOT exemptions are utilized for all TTT container transfers prior to departure. + Operate forklift to offload, palletize, and reload material. + Inspect and secure all outbound containers to meet safety and regulatory standards. + Supervise and provide direction to Truck-to-Truck Technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance feedback. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Qualifications** **Education & Experience** **Required:** High School Diploma or equivalent. **Preferred:** Additional technical training in logistics, transportation, or compliance. **Experience:** 3–5 years in transportation, logistics, or a related supervisory role. **Licenses & Certifications** **Required:** + Forklift certification + DOT training and understanding of transportation regulations + Manifest training and familiarity with compliance standards **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** + Strong working knowledge of DOT and hazardous material regulations. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications. + Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. + Ability to lead a team and make supervisory recommendations regarding hiring, training, scheduling, and corrective actions. **Supervisory Responsibility** **Supervises:** Truck to Truck Technicians (Job Code: 932122) **Decision-Making Involvement:** **Recommends:** Hiring, training, scheduling, compensation, corrective action, and termination **Decides:** Performance appraisals **Travel & Physical Requirements** **Travel:** Less than 10% **Physical Demands:** + Medium Work: Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. + Frequent standing, climbing, bending, reaching, and use of forklift. + Must be able to climb on/off forklifts and ladders, and maintain good hand/eye coordination. **Vision & Hearing Requirements** + Near and far visual acuity, color vision, and peripheral vision required (corrective lenses allowed). + Ability to hear and distinguish speech and alarms in a loud environment (hearing aids permitted). **Equal Opportunity Employer Statement** We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
