Job Title: Forklift Mechanic ($25-40/HR)

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay: $25-40/HR (Based on interview and experience)

Shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (OT is available)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to service both gas and electric forklifts for various clients around town. This role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of forklift issues, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Gas mileage for travel is covered.

Responsibilities:

Service and repair both gas and electric forklifts.Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on forklift systems.PleasePerform preventive maintenance and hydraulic repairs.Handle mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repairs.Undertake welding and fabrication tasks as needed.Maintain and repair heavy and industrial equipment.

Essential Skills:

Experience in forklift repair and maintenance.Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Proficiency in preventive maintenance and hydraulic repairs.Knowledge of pneumatic systems and diesel engines.Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain heavy equipment.Experience with equipment maintenance and repair.Prior experience in industrial and hydraulic equipment.Certification as a Forklift Mechanic.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
