The Position
Our Olathe location is seeking a Forklift Operator to add to our 1st Shift team.

This position is responsible for performing the various tasks associated with the receipt, fulfillment and shipment of products at the Bushnell warehouse facility.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklift equipmentReceives and processes product into warehousePick and pack product to fulfill ordersPrepares product for shipmentAssists with other projects as requiredWilling to work flexible hoursMust maintain a high attention to detailAssist production assembly department as neededOther duties as required

Qualifications:

Years of Related Experience: 1+ year of related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

Must be forklift certified; or willing to become forklift certifiedWorking knowledge of RF gunbasic understanding of a Distribution Center Good reading and comprehensive skills to read orders, bills of lading, etc.Strong interpersonal skillsBasic Computer skills Basic understanding of sound safety practices and good housekeeping requirements

While performing the duties of this job Associates are required to:

Regularly stand, sit, walk, climb stairs and work at heights from floor to 30 feet highFrequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 25-50lbs with a maximum of 65lbs throughout a full shift of workPerform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, hands and legs. Moving of whole body to lift, reach, grasp, balance and stoop when handling warehouse materials for an extended period and/or an entire work shift.Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus ability to:

                 -Speak clearly and actively listen

                 -Read, comprehend, and carryout all work instructions

                 -Write simple correspondence

                 -Ability to count

                 -Careful attention to detail            

Work effectively in a team environmentWork autonomously and maintain productivity and quality standards. Be reliable and have good work attendance historyPossess a positive attitude with a work ethic of the highest degree.

Hours/Compensation/Benefits:

Hours: Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm)

Compensation: $20/hr.

Pay Range:

$16.54 - $23.37

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
