Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for performing tasks associated with the fulfillment and shipment of products at the warehouse facility. They will use various lifts to safely move, load, unload materials, while also assisting with various warehouse duties to support efficient daily operations.

This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor and is based out of our Olathe, Kansas location.  

As the Forklift Operator you will have an opportunity to:

Operate forklift equipment (various types)Receives and processes product into warehousePick and pack product to fulfill ordersPrepare product for shipmentAssists with other projects as requiredAssist production assembly department as needed

You have:

One to three (1-3) years of warehouse experience preferredMust be forklift certified; or willing to become forklift certifiedWorking knowledge of RF gunBasic understanding of a Distribution CenterComfortability with heightsHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood reading and comprehensionStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to receive coaching and feedbackBasic Computer skillsExcellent attendance recordSafety awareness

Abilities:

Regularly stand, sit, walk, and work from heights from floor to 30 feet highFrequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 25-50lbs with a maximum of 65lbs throughout a full shift of workPerform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, hands and legs. Moving of whole body to lift, reach, grasp, balance, and stoop when handling warehouse materials for an extended period and/or an entire work shift.Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception

Environment: Exposure to noise, dust, and climate changes

Hours: Monday- Thursday (4:30pm- 3am)

Compensation: $20.20/hr.

Pay Range:

$16.54 - $23.37

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
