Our client in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, is actively seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, follows instructions closely, and maintains a strong commitment to workplace safety. The selected candidate will not only operate reach trucks and forklifts but also be expected to assist with a wide variety of warehouse duties. These include order picking, pallet building, freight breakdown, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. The Day-to-Day:

Operate stand-up reach trucks in high-racking storage environments.Use RF scanners to pick orders accurately and efficiently.Build pallets for shipping and handle freight receiving tasks.Break down and segregate freight, repalletize during order picking, and receive inbound shipments.Dispose of warehouse supplies properly and assist with general cleaning and project-based warehouse tasks.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Prior experience with sit-down forklifts for dock work is a plus.Ability to handle freight paperwork for LTL, FT, and container shipments.Must be available for overtime (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and occasional Saturday half-day shifts.Strong understanding of SOPs and safety protocols.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 /hr

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PMOvertime availability required (until 7:00 PM and occasional Saturday half-days)
