Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join their team in Chambersburg, PA. The forklift operators are responsible for picking items using roll clamps, large lumber lifts, and regular forklifts. The night shift forklift operator supports the operations of three (3) locations within Chambersburg, moving, unloading, and loading materials as needed. Products being handled vary by location and include, but are not limited to, paper rolls, paper products, lumber, and large steel mechanical parts.

The Day-to-Day:

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environmentLoad and unload materials from rail cars, flatbeds, and trailersMove, stack, and organize materials as directedInspect, separate, and package product kits according to customer instructionsReceive and process incoming shipmentsPerform general housekeeping in the warehouse and production areasConduct daily forklift inspections and follow all safety and operational guidelines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of forklift experience (5,000 lbs. capacity or higher) requiredPrevious warehouse experience preferredAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. unassistedMust be physically able to walk, bend, lift, and sit for extended periodsWillingness to work across multiple site locations as needed

Pay Rate:

$18.50 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday5:00 PM to 3:30 AM (10 hours of OT per week, built into this schedule)
