Our client is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Order Selector / Reach Truck Operator to support operations at their distribution center in Sumner, WA. This role involves operating various types of powered industrial equipment to receive, store, select, and transport building product materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, organized, and efficient in handling materials and fulfilling customer orders.

The Day-to-Day:

Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to move products safely and efficiently.Transport materials between receiving, storage, and production areas.Perform regular inspections of equipment to identify and report any issues or damage.Safely stack and unstack products on shelves or pallets as needed.Sort, organize, and place materials in designated storage locations according to product codes and specifications.Accurately pull and stage customer orders for shipment or internal use.Track orders and requisitions to meet production and fulfillment goals.Verify the accuracy and condition of received and shipped goods.Assist with physical inventory counts and ensure labeling/tagging accuracy.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or cherry pickers preferred.Working knowledge of RF scanners, warehouse inventory, and picking systems.Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to meet physical demands.Reliable attendance and a strong team-oriented mindset.Flexibility to work overtime when needed.Active forklift certification strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to move up to 560 units daily, with an average weight of 30 pounds per item (approximately 70 lifts per hour).

Pay Rate:

$22.00 /hr

Monday to Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
