Our client, a well-established food production facility, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team in Torrance, CA. This role involves managing inventory movement, loading/unloading, and ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently using SAP/RF systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Send and receive shipments, verifying merchandise against purchase and sales orders using SAP/RFOperate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic skates to transport goodsPick, place, and organize inventory using FEFO, product codes, and storage guidelinesTake inventory and accurately document quantities of materials received and distributedComplete and sign all inventory, inspection, and shipping documentationMaintain a clean and organized warehouse environment; sweep, mop, and remove debrisReport product damage and maintain zero tolerance for damaged inventoryFollow all GMP, food safety, and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience operating a sit-down forkliftForklift certification or ability to become certifiedAbility to operate electric pallet jacks and hydraulic skatesHigh school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)Ability to read, write, and speak English (Spanish is a plus)Strong attention to detail, math skills, and time management

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Range: $22.25 – $24.25/hourShifts Available:Shift A: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PMShift B: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PMShift C: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AMMonday through Friday with potential for weekend or overtime shifts
