**Forklift Operator** _Warehouse & Logistics Operations_ **Position Summary** We’re seeking a dependable and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating material handling equipment, executing warehouse processes including shipping and receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy—all while supporting an efficient, organized, and safety-first environment. **Key Responsibilities** **Material Handling & Equipment Operation** Safely operate powered material handling equipment (Reach, Dock Stocker, Sit-Down Forklift). Complete daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or needed repairs. Load and unload shipments using appropriate MHE for LTL, TL trailers, and vans. Secure and palletize shipments to prevent in-transit damage. **Warehouse & Inventory Control** Use RF scanners to process incoming and outgoing orders with accuracy. Inspect inbound and outbound freight for accuracy, condition, and documentation. Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits and QA inspections. Consolidate stock to optimize space and improve operational flow. **Compliance & Safety** Maintain compliance with all company safety policies, 5S standards, and C-TPAT requirements. Complete C-TPAT inspections and documentation for international shipments. Support warehouse and equipment security per company procedures. Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions consistently. **Team & Operational Support** Meet departmental productivity and quality standards set by leadership. Cross-train to provide backup support across warehouse functions as needed. Assist team leads with onboarding and training of new warehouse staff. Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. **Qualifications** High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, including 1 year operating stand-up forklifts. Valid forklift certification for Reach, Dock Stocker, or Sit-Down trucks. Proficient with RF scanning equipment. Strong math, reading comprehension, and legible handwriting. **Skills & Abilities** Attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and moving wheeled items up to 700 lbs.
