We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator located in Plover, WI.

 About the role

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in warehouse operations by safely and efficiently moving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting both production and shipping departments. You’ll be responsible for loading, unloading, rotating stock, documenting material movement, and ensuring all packaging areas are fully supplied—while promoting safety and efficiency at every step.

 Statement of Job

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of Forklift Operator. This role is responsible for optimizing material flow, supporting production with needed supplies, managing inventory movement, and maintaining warehouse efficiency. It requires coordination with various departments and the safe operation of forklifts and related equipment.

 Major Duties and Responsibilities

Take direction from the Warehouse Supervisor

Check incoming loads for seals and complete incoming carrier reports

Verify Bills of Lading (BOL) and print pallet labels

Unload supply trucks safely and efficiently

Rotate inventory using First Expired, First Out (FEFO) practices

Supply packing lines with materials (cases, cartons, poly, etc.)

Transport finished goods to freezer or trailers in a timely manner

Manage waste (cardboard, trash, dumpsters) and transport to compactor

Support quality callbacks, pallet returns, and cold storage movements

Maintain clean and organized work area

Communicate clearly with team members via radio, written, and verbal communication

Accurately complete documentation and use computer systems (SAP, InfinityQS)

Promote safety and follow GMPs

Perform other supply-related duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Coordinator

 Special Requirements

Strong mental and manual skills with initiative and independence

Computer skills and SAP experience for material receiving, shipping, and tracking

Must hold valid forklift certification

Willing and able to work 12-hour shifts

Knowledge of production flow and warehouse processes

 Scope of Authority

 Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1–2 years of forklift experience

Proven safe driving and work habits

Willingness to cross-train and work as part of a team

Mathematical ability to perform basic calculations

Familiarity with Statistical Process Control software (InfinityQS)

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Comfortable working in cold environments

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

 Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Prolonged sitting and standing

Repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)

Safe operation of forklifts and other required equipment
