**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** The Forklift Operator is responsible for picking and palletizing orders, loading and unloading trucks, delivering supplies between plants, cleaning warehouse and cooler areas, and completing shipping and receiving paperwork. This position involves operating a forklift, a mechanical device, and using a shrink wrap machine. The role requires maintaining a safe and clean working environment, following all company safety rules, regulations, and documentation, and ensuring that training is up to date and documented. Additional duties include cleaning all equipment according to SOPs, maintaining control of all equipment and tools, palletizing products and stacking layers up to five feet, placing covers on pallets, and shrink-wrapping. The operator must be able to maneuver products within the freezer and cooler to fill the space to its capacity, understand the flour and oil system, and assist in unloading these supplies. The individual must also be capable of performing work in an unsupervised environment, loading and unloading semi-trailers safely and efficiently, using a handheld scanner, completing shipping and receiving paperwork, and using a warehouse management system.
